Wyndham Cultural Centre is the premier performing arts theatre and cultural events centre in Melbourne’s western suburbs. The building on the corner of Watton and Wedge Street in Werribee was fully renovated and opened in 2001. The spaces inside house the 477 seat Tattersall’s Theatre, large atrium foyer, two exhibition galleries and is home to the CBD Library and Raffael’s Bar & Café.
The Theatre holds productions across the year, some bought by the venue and presented in the main Theatre Season each year and others hired in by commercial producers and local community schools and theatre companies. As well as this, the venue is available for groups holding workshops or meetings and special functions.
The 2009 Theatre Season was officially launched in November 2008 and this year we are presenting 8 Main Season Shows, 4 Sunday Stars Shows, 4 Children’s Shows and additional shows – The Johnny O’Keefe Tribute Show and Sonya Hartnetts ‘Thursdays Child’.
