In-school performance and reconciliation workshops with award winning performer Ian Michael.

HART is a one-man verbatim theatre piece about the lived experiences of Stolen Generations. Using testimonials from survivors, award-winning artist, Ian Michael, invites you to experience the silenced stories of our country. Ian will present a series of in-schools workshops during reconciliation week in 2018. Two workshop formats are offered:

  • In-school performance workshop: To build confidence in the participants to generate and perform their own material inspired by their experiences, interests or backgrounds.
  • In-school reconciliation workshop: To better understand the effects of the Stolen Generations on Australia in past and present through theatre/art.

Workshops are limited to one class per session and are free for schools that book 50 or more students to the performance. A limited number of workshops are on offer, contact us for more information.
